Time Travellers Weekend

September 22, 2018 | Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm

The Richmond Region’s most renowned historic sites offer visitors a “passport” to travel back in time during a special admission-free weekend on Saturday and Sunday, September 22 & 23. Tourists and locals alike are invited to discover the area’s treasures, spanning 400 years of fascinating history and including the homes of John Marshall, Jefferson Davis, John Wickham, Major James Dooley and other important Virginians.

Fancy Me Mad! at St. John's Church

October 20, 2018 | Saturday, 5:30 pm - 8 pm

St. John’s Church Foundation and the Poe Museum present Fancy Me Mad, our fall event honoring the spirits of the season, All Hallow’s Eve, as well as master storyteller, Edgar Allan Poe. Please join us for a ghostly Graveyard tour, followed by tales from Mr. Poe himself! Some of the expected spirits include Eliza Poe, the mother of Edgar Allan Poe; George Wythe and his murderous nephew; and more.

Poe's Pumpkin Patch

October 27, 2018 | Saturday, 10 am - 8 pm

Children of all ages are encouraged to come in costume and enjoy pumpkin decorating, creating your own raven puppet, and playing fun games at the annual Poe’s Pumpkin Patch in the historic Enchanted Garden. There will be Poe-themed face-painting for children.
